Whales and dolphins to be granted human rights? What does this imply? From what I see I think it's a move to prevent them from being hunted, and that's it. Where do we draw the line for 'human rights' for whales and dolphins? If they kill a human, would they be sent to prison? Of course not. Don't get me wrong, I love them but it's absurd to say that they should be given human rights when all it implies is preventing the hunting of them
