Bas Haring- My favourite was the seemingly peaceable film showing a group of birds foraging. Thanks to the high-speed camera work, you also see the harsh reality of the ongoing struggle between these so-called sweet birds.

@Wejdaany It is a Phantom v710 that recorded this video at 600fps.
600fps is not enough to keep up with the speed of house sparrows in our colony.

This scene occurred due to a lack of food. The house sparrows were not able to feed themselves for a while and when they finally could there was not enough places for all of them at once. It could have been an patrolling sparrowhawk, but it is also possible that we gave them not enough.
House sparrows only fight when there is a shortage of something.
Food, shelter, nests, bathing space, et cetera.
