I think they are saving the FPS multiplayer for DooM 4. It is sooo carmack to not release 2 multiplayer fps's

ID Software knows what they're doing. They are the gods of multiplayer FPS. They ran the entire online multiplayer scene by themselves before any one of you where even born

LAAAAAAME! How are you gonna hype the mess out of this game and not a have an online multiplayer team deathmatch mode. Smh. You literally just killed half of your fan base without even releasing the game.

Sad if it's only racing and car fights but I bet id will put in like Quake Arena mode, and a Rage FPS style of DM and TDM, but ya computer can tweak so if id dosent do that then one of u should, sad that I'm getting it for xbox, not tweaking for me :( :(

Damn the vehicle mode actually looks like a 3rd person deathmatch, its a lot different than other games. BUT PEOPLE!! This game can be modded, open the console and type in "id studio" the tools are there. We have the ability to make a deathmatch mode seriously so its kinda moot complaining about any mode not being there.

@MutantSausage Dude!! I know what you mean but the friggin game is capable of being modded, we can make our own deathmatch!!!!

I am excited for the story, but I am rather disappointed that Id is not including a deathmatch mode or CTF.
