Dani & David Learn to Ski at Copper Mountain, Colorado

Do you have any idea what's involved teaching children how to ski? ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and Travels With Sheila have schlepped first children and then grandchildren out West to learn as each turned between 8-12 years old.

First, bring lots of money and a credit card. Skiing is a very expensive sport! Add lessons, lift tickets, equipment, plane tickets, condo, food.... Well...by the time you are done, two people could have easily gone to Europe for two weeks. But like American Express says, "The experience was priceless."

What time of the year did u go and was the snow good

@blackopsman999 We were there the end of March beginning of April. Snow is usually very good. They make snow on all important runs and colorado is so much higher in altitude than Europe. Between 9,000-12,000'. You shouldn't have any problems.
