If you have dry and/or mature skin this is the face mask for you....it is amazing. Please though as with any new product patch test it on your skin first to ensure you do not have any adverse reaction. Remember too, any face mask can make your skin slightly worse before it gets better in terms of break outs....as one of the purpose of applying a mask is to eliminate impurities....so perhaps leave it a little while before an important engagement. Wearing rubber gloves is also a bonus...if you don't want stained finger nails! It does easily wash off your skin though with cleanser or soap and water!!

  • Hiya! Can i use the Co-Q10 capsules on it's own? I've seen a few videos of people using Vitamin E Capusules on their skin but poking a hole through it and squeezing the gel out. I was wondering it will be effective using the co-Q10 capsule on it's own too?

  • @xmxmx I have to say I have never tried it...!! If you have a fairly tolerant skin that does not break out easily....I don't see why it would not be a good idea! Let me know how you get on. The main reason I dilute it...is because it is VERY yellow in colour....so that would be more intense...so definitely you would only use it at night! It would stain alot also...so be mindful of that !!! Thx for commenting :-)

  • I definitely noticed a difference in the radiance and evenness of my pigmentation issues.....I also used the coq10 of course mixed with a moisturizer every night! The last few months I have been experimenting using Lancome's Visionnaire + Vitamin C....this is also a great combination but I am still using this mask once a fortnight! The Lancome Visionnaire is a much more expensive route that the moisturizer + coq10 and there are not dramatic differences in my skin!!!

  • @LittleMissForty when you add the coq10 to your moisturizer, how many capsules do you use?

  • @sgblucas Hi there! I recommend just the one capsule...it is quite oily and does give a slight yellow caste to the skin...so it is only suitable at night!! :-)

  • Hello Little Miss Forty, I'd like to know where you buy the coq10 in UK. I live in Paris but go in London quite often. Thanks for sharing this mask recipe, it seems great. Merci. Agnès

  • @Queenpette Hi there! The coq10 capsules can be bought from any health shop and even some supermarkets now sell coq10 capsules....you don't have to wait to come to London! Lucky you living in Paris....I may be off there soon. Thx for stopping by and commenting :-)

  • If you want to get the best value Coq10 I would recommend buying it at Iherb.com they have the best collection and the best price!! If you use the referral code : daj756 you will get an extra $5 off on your first order!! JippiJey

  • How was the experiment for the few months? Was your skin really different?

  • I've been curious about turmeric in masks for ages but I have pretty light, pinkish skin and I'm terrified it will stain yellow on me! I'm on holiday for the next two weeks so I think I'll brave it and see what happens while I don't necessarily have to go out in public for a few days. :-)
