c. 1966 Herschede #250 "the clock" purchased at the Beverly Hills, CA Luxo-Mart in 1968. dont see too many of these around

  • What happened to the other herschede grandfather clock you had?(the one you removed the dial for the vidio with whittington chimes) do you still have it?

  • @clockdude1500 Yes it has been moved to a different part of the house, I just brought a 9-tube Herschede #276 Virginian out of storage as well that I plan on posting a video of

  • Beautiful clock! The Whittington is my favorite. I've never seen a 250 with the mercury pendulum before. I like it. It's interesting, I've seen 250s like your's with a dark finish, and I've seen others with a much lighter finish like the one at Champs clock shop. Do these tubes have single point suspension?

  • This one has the darker finish though the lighting where it is makes it look lighter, yes it does have the single point chime suspensions, plus I had it signed personally by Mr. Herschede a few years ago, which makes it very special

  • youtube is the only place i've found anyone who knows about herschede or is interested in them, i've liked them since i was about 5 years old
