just wanted to say i've watched 3 'disc jump' tutorials, and this is by far the clearest and most informative, thank you :)

[i am aware that this is before the current patch and the weapons may have chanced alot]
when i play using the same route (around/over the tower) i fly +half the towers height over it then i swoop down on the butcher/sandrakers flag from an unsuspected angle so the force fields are usually missplaced to counter me, but then i play pathfinder and going over 200km/h

Hmm I am just far too retarded for this. I always die when I shoot myself in the feet

is it handy to concussive-shot-jump if you are a flag carrier? (so you have to survive, and don't have any regeneration). I primarely ask this for the deatmatch mode.

Haha, "I promise it was intentional!" - cut to next sequence.
Brilliant. Thank you for explaining this.

KM/H not MPH. Great video though.

didn't cover scrambler's Arx Buster :(
it is possible, it's annoying difficult because the projectile does not bounce with you like the raiders grenade launcher, and has a very limited effect.

Very informative. I had no idea about the raider's SMG jumping or the Doombringer's Chain jump. Thanks :)
I don't understand you talk at first about making sure you shoot straight behind but then in all your examples you shoot straight down below you. WHHHHAAT?

@lbennett5 Sorry, the nature of having played the past games for a while. In the second "proper" example I shoot behind me because I am trying to burst into the hill, which I am using as a ramp (as explained). When I leaping on katabatic, I need to go higher, not further, so I shoot straight down (also with more speed, which acts as down and slightly back).
What I explained later on is, generally, shoot behind for distance with less height, if you're trying to go UP more, shoot straight down.
