thank you for sharing your journey. My nephew was diagnosed December 2011, a week before christmas, and this is a rough journey. How is her head and neck movement now? How was recovery?

Thank you for raising awareness about Chiari Malformation. Our daughter will have surgery in Jan. She is 8 and loves gymnastics also. We had to take her out of sports currently. Luckily, she is a great artist and avid reader. Thank you again for sharing your story and we will you and your family all the healing and best.

@guppylovex4 I hope she has a successful surgery, I googled the scars and my daughters is barely visible now so dont go by google. Please ask for the dermabond and avoid the staples if possible.
