@NunoTrickz i totaly agree with u.. especially about each individual (fitness, mental state, envirnoment reason, strategy, etc. and i think bruce lee is s great example for it. he was one of the most famous for his martial arts career and he had a lot of different styles not just one or two. and if below belt was the most efficient bruce wouldnt have used them at all or very little. oh and FYI BOHEMIANRADEGAST Bruce also had TKD background which came very usefull for him in fights.

@BohemianRadegast Also taekwondo is not only about kicking, it's footwork is very nice for dodging. But like i said and others say, it's not about the art, it's about the artist.

@BohemianRadegast ,yes, i had and still have martial arts training , i trained Capoeira, boxing, ninjutsu, MMA and Taekwondo. I will not argue with you anymore, you can think whatever you want, if you call taekwondo a sport i can call mma , judo , jiujitsu , greco roman fighting, muay thai , kickboxing , karate, etc , sports to cause if there's also competitions and stuff like that, k1, ufc are some examples, it's easy to talk this way. And taekwondo uses hands to, search "meaning of taekwondo"

@NunoTrickz secondly teakwondo is not using hand or any hands protection which means instant knock out in real fight

@NunoTrickz I cant and iam not, all iam saying is that TKD is only a sport today not a real martial art. Fastest kicks? have you been doing any martial arts at all?, kicks are fast if the user is fast, the only real kicks you mostly use in reality are ones bellow belt and these are most effective as i said erlier the high kicks are a lot easier to blockade especially if the one doing them is tired a little
-
@BohemianRadegast , you are wrong.Taekwondo is known for the fastest kicks and powerfull ones, it's like boxing but for the legs, so you can't block an high kick if you don't see it. High kicks wouldn't exist if they weren't effective, Also i don't understand how you people "argue" about a martial art , when what really matters is how you use your skills. There are many factors in a street fight, fitness, mental state, environment, reason, strategy, etc. You cannot judge an art by what you see.

not the best video ever
i've been through hundreds of training sessions of the main martial arts;
TKD may not be the most effeciant, but holy shit, i personally dont know a dumbass who would want to fight me just because my confidence and skill is that high. honestly, kung fu and TKD are the best for streets, and for ground, use your jiu jitsti and aikido:)
kick on

It's not true that WTF thinks that the only thing to do in fighting is kicking. Sometimes they like to spin around and fall on their ass.
