...btw, this is an indian imitation of the twist , a dance totally alien (to the point of being exotic) to them and indian culture as a whole.

this is not an immitation. The whole american culture is imitation by that standard. The different people in the world don't live in isolation. Welcome to the world. How do you define indian culture. Do you define by the standard of 100 years ago????? ask yourself
