  • The pipe was an existing 6 inch pipe made of cast iron. The bursting process allows for a new pipe 8 inch in diamater made of HDPE to be pulled through the ground in its place. This method allows a small pit to be dug at each end of a pipe up to 700 feet away and pipe installed without trenching the entire street.

  • No, it allows you to make repairs to a old line without digging up the street. i done this myself i dont enjoy it , esp when ppl set a manhole on top pf a hugh boulder.

  • It's a repair on a burst pipe.
