Record of Agarest War(Xbox 360) - Generation 3 Boss Fight: Midas(Hard mode)

The artificial intelligence can vary for time to time. Sometimes they're mildly intelligent or down right stupid! My first battle he actually used AOE spells. The second time I fought him (trying to get a overkill drop) the AI was more focused on singular attacks. Surprisingly, I did better when he used his AOE since it builds up your sp gauge. This guy must have a brick of health. I dealt so much damage and I still didn't net an overkill drop.

edit- I found a better strategy to beat him. Just surround and trap him so he won't use his AOE attacks/spells.
