Pollinating Giant Pumpkins

This is a demonstration video of pollinating a Giant Pumpkin which we grow in our backyard. The flower types are discussed and shown. The male flower is picked, de-petal and rubbed around the inside of the female flower. Several of our friends who we have introduced Giant Pumpkin growing to, have requested this training video. This pollination technique is also useable for other squash. Bees are the natural pollinators. It's our human hands that hopefully give the pumpkins a little more help if the bee population in the area is low.
