In 1967, Jean Eichelberger Ivey founded the Peabody Conservatory Electronic Music Studio. Source material consisting of taped jam sessions with cello, flute, and guitar combined with that derived from the then revolutionary Moog synthesizer resulted in the recorded portion of the present piece.
In concert, the live cello occupies the centre of the stereo image and the recorded material is spread from left to right. The volume should be set as loud as possible and the piece fully downloaded to achieve essential continuity.

I do not know about all you, but when I hear this, I have a picture of a swampland filled with enormous brontosaurus's. They are munching away at vegetation, and are making mating calls in which the enormous beasts compete with each other for mates...
A unique piece... Years ago, my father used to play me some similar music - we did not call it dinosaur music but "space music". Being a "Star trekker", I heard it again and again. But it could have been dinosaurs all along. :->
