Click the above link to find the hub bearing for your vehicle. In this video we'll show you how to remove & replace a wheel hub bearing on a 2006 Pontiac Torrent. This procedure is very similar to most any front wheel drive vehicle with a unitized hub bearing assembly.
Great info. I'm getting some grinding noise out of mine while coming to a stop. At first I thougt it was my brakes so I inspected all four and the still have plenty of meat on them. Rotors and drums look good too. Could the bearing hubs be causing this grinding noise?

@joseeone23 The hub could possibly be the cause of the noise, but usually a hub bearing will get louder and more pronounced as the speed increases. Also be sure to check your tires for any major cupping or unusual wear. If the tires are in poor shape, they can even make a grinding noise.

How can I break the hub nut lose with the wheel on the ground? Doesn't the wheel have to be removed first in order to get to the hub nut?

@cholio It all depends on the size of the center caps on your wheels, if the wheels have a large enough center-cap hole, you can get to the hub-nut without taking the wheel off.
