The story of Puccini's Opera "Turandot" actually takes place in Yuan Dynasty China, and now finally a Chinese is singing the role of Calaf (Even though that role is more like Mongolian that type, but still Mongolian culture is also one of the elements in Chinese culture nowadays). This is the most authentic version of "Nessun Dorma" I've ever heard and probably one of the very best one, to me at least this version is so good to the point that you can forget Pavarotti singing this aria.
