Jupiter High School - 2nd Food Fight Aftermath

This was after the second food fight at Jupiter High School during lunch B. This time, however, the cafeteria was filled with administrators and supervision. The students created a huge food fight lasting about one minute resulting in food and condiments everywhere including on clothing of staff and teachers.

Because of the magnitude of the situation and the previous events during the day, the school called the Jupiter Police for backup and support. I could hear over the schools radio system "CALL THE JUPITER POLICE DEPARTMENT WE NEED BACKUP!" (The police department is adjacent to the school) The school terminated the lunch and announced that all students go to their sixth hour class.

I've never seen this many police in one area, especially a school. About every forty feet or so a police officer could be seen.

what kind of radio system do they have?

They use Motorola handhelds, but I'm not sure about the infrastrucutre ... I believe they program the handhelds to their frequency/channel because the dials on the handhelds don't do anything when changed.
