@mateohellabay78 It's much cheaper than buying small coins, and there rarer. if this guy brought the same amount of small coins than sold the big one and the sall ones today, the big coin would have made more profit. but if the economy went down, having some small coins would be good. For the moment propery is the way to go or stocks.

@mateohellabay78 I disagree. You can sell it on Ebay in 24 hours. There will be dosens of bids on this item. Your dealer is pretty out of touch with reality. This piece was purchased for $650 last year and can be sold for $1200 today. What's so pointless about it?

@gruppenfuhrer0 Your wrong, nobody will be able to afford large pieces, and it's likely the government will ban the sales of gold and silver; especially when not subjected to the Orwellian capital gains taxes and price controls that would be implemented at this time. The government may also seize it mid-shipment, or it will be opened and stolen by the shipper.
Not to mention internet traffic in this situation, would be heavily regulated, or stopped, in order to maintain national security.
