  • One Christmas, my Mama gave me a record sung by Don Francisco. I kept it for about two years and never listened to it. One day as I was cleaning the living room, I heard a voice say, 'If your Mama ever asks you how you like the record, what will you tell her'. I listened to the record. The song that ministered to this prodigal daughter the most and caused me to go back home to my Father God's house was this song, 'I Don't Care Where You've Been Sleeping'. I about wore the record out that day.

  • I have listened to Don Francisco since 1980. He is truly one of the best Christian musicians I have ever heard. Very moved by the Spirit. I am so happy that people are posting and sharing his music for another generation to be inspired. His music, like God's love, is eternal.

  • @Discern4 The debt is fully paid because Jesus didn't owe it. He defeated death because he had no sin. The debt is paid in full.

  • God Bless...

  • and our punishment was not eternal seperation it was our sins that caused seperation and Jesus took all the punishment for our sins upon himself so all our sins past , present and future our forgiven by believing in and trusting in him, Amen

  • prodigal65 i want you to know that God the eternal God creator of heaven and earth became a man and bore the entire curse of the law so that in him we could become the rightousness of God our sins seperated us he had to put them away , such statements like the one you have below only prove how little you know the scriptures and how little you understand the power and love of God never the less he loves you and has fully paid and over paid your debt read the book of romans for more details

  • @prodigal65 The animals sacrificed in the Old Testament were also innocent, yet they didn't just come back to life. They truly did pay a punishment.

If I promise to pay your $100 speeding fine, but only fork out $20, then I haven't covered your debt. Same as Jesus. It doesn't matter who or what Jesus is, if our punishment for sin is eternal separation from God, then Jesus, taking on that punishment for us, should be eternally separated from God. But he's not. The debt is not fully paid for.

  • @Discern4 Death, hell, and the grave could not hold Him, as He was innocent - but took upon Himself the penalty that was due us! (Much like someone going to the judge in traffic court and paying your fine for speeding - Although he did not speed - was not chrged - but paid your fine anyway! All He asks in return is for you to believe... give your heart and life to Him and in return you are promised eternal life with God (who is then your heavenly Father - forever - and that's a long time!!!!

  • @Discern4 This is not the place to teach foundational Christian doctrines but let me help you with something. Jesus was not only God's Son (2nd member of the triune Godhead)... but He was also man - the Bible calls it a "mystery" as it is a little too much for finite man to get a hold of... He was fully, God... yet fully, man! He came as a man for one thing... to die in our place (under God's Covenant) AS A MAN. (He did not die spiritually as God cannot die - as some erroneosly teach). (see nxt)

  • "I already gave My life to set you free"

If the punishment for our sins is eternity in hell, the same should be for Jesus if He truly took the punishment for us. Instead, He's up in heaven as if nothing happened.

And how is it truly a sacrifice if Jesus is God and can just come back to life again? It's hard to be grateful for a sacrifice that isn't really a sacrifice from a God that can't die.

  • @Krisusmc I suggest you look over my comment. I don't know if you noticed, but my comment was both aimed and addressed to the same person. So... I don't know what that was about.
