She did not need to apologize, she showed her respect, she showed her emotion it was beautiful.

@honeyteom They only talked on the phone around the time when Mariahs dad passed away. Michael also needed help from her because he was fighting against Sony. MJ asked Mariah for support but she never appeared. So, I do know what Im talking about. Speaking on the phone 5 or 10 times does not make you a friend. Michael loved to help people, thats why he listen to her at the time. Mariah did not act the same way back.

@monsteripolo they were friends. MJ called MC a friend several times.he helped her through a hard time of her life. and her voice wasn't perfect but still good. so,don't talk if you have no idea.

I think that she did fine. Her voice was wobbly to be expected, provided that she was at a FUNERAL FOR ONE OF HER DEAREST FRIENDS.

I have sung at several funerals...cried during some of it. Who cares? It's not about the performance it's about the message.

WHO CARES. So she got emotional. This is a tribute. I saw nothing wrong with it. And no Mariah you did not let me down. I would not have cared if she missed every word and sung notes all messed up--knowing she is a top notched singer. This was a death not Grammy Award or tour concert situation.
