  • It's funny how he talks about the 'mask' which influenced George Lucas' Star Wars, can't help but think Lucas used this idea for Luke, Anakin, mask of Vader and 'the Cave' in Dagobah.

And also, Joseph Campbell looks like David Prowse, the guy who played Darth Vader.

  • Wonderful!

  • that camera man is on point! he moves every time jc does. i know it's a man cause a woman cannot track like that. it's just true. also... listening to tribal traditions about god without accounting for the effect of playing the 'telephone game' with god, you try to learn by photo copies upon photo copies in how mankind as a whole perceives god. that's quite silly and shows an anxiousness to dismiss god with a 2nd story view from your university balcony on the world.

  • this is one of those moments where I say to myself...right...and now I know what my teeth look like. AND yettoarrive and some others are fanatics,

  • Joseph Campbell places you face-to-face with your biggest adversary...your SELF.

  • 4 people are afraid of masks

  • @TaylorReynolds221 Yeah Finding Joe was a great documentary. My favorite part was the children acting out what the people were talking about. youtub e.c om/watch?v=-AAfu D6xUHs
