@AutumnEnergy1 no it hasnt anything to do with colour it is purely to do with the way they have been kinda sheltered from modern civilisation until only recently and i thought could this have been done intentionally to ensure their knowledge gets passed onto us at a time when firstly we can verify the info and 2ndly when we may be able to put it to use.

The Dogon were advanced people at the time. You don't give that type of knowledge to imbeciles. You give it to people who are CAPABLE of keeping it. Are you asking if they were holding it for an "advanced" culture because they are black? If this information were given to Europeans, would you ask the same question? Open your eyes, and THINK !

We need to get all the historians and scientists together and re write history from scratch with modern methods and technology, if something doesn't fit then we shouldn't dismiss it we should find out why it doesn't fit. Our history is so important and we should rediscover it for ourselves and not rely on some dusty old textbook from some previous century. It would probably be a good idea to do the same with religion and government

Could this tribe have been placed in this isolated area by aliens/gods to save them during flood times or some other disaster and given this information as a clue for an advanced culture to decipher maybe their knowledge could point us in the right direction of the gods home world or even our original planet cause what's to say we didn't come from earth
