We got this classic English caravan June 2009 from Paul Atkinson, drummer for The Houserockers and Paul Ansel's No9. Paul owned it for 30 years before us. We can't have a matching caravan for all of our classic English and American vehicles, so this will be the only one. It is a 1966 4 berth, although 2 tall people like us find it a bit of a struggle. People were much shorter years ago and caravans were not designed for our tall height. At 5' 8" I can't even stand up fully in the kitchen and toilet area, so Geoff has no chance being 6'. The Cheltenham Waterbuck has the old fashioned hand water pump and gas lights. The fold out double bed is a bit short, and rather narrow. The floor level single bed is also short and the fold down bunk is really only suitable for a small child. Geoff has repainted the caravan in it's original ermine white. It was done in the proper coach paint, as it is synthetic and more flexible. The work started in May 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa7Vrwr6aeo You can see our caravan with other classic vehicles at Geoff's barn in my video here. There are still a few improvements needed to the interior woodwork.
