Roland Szentpali talks about which Melton-Meinl Weston instruments he's using and also explains why. The last mentioned model does not have a Melton- Meinl Weston engraving ;-)

  • Wow! You made the serpent sound awesome! Well done! :) I'm looking for videos featuring the 5450 Thor. Know where I could find any?

  • @2badude how does he play high, air speed. That's all it comes down to. If you can put the air fast enough through your horn, then your range is literally limitless.

  • Hallo,

    sehr lehrreich,

    Thank you from Germany

  • Roland is my hero!!

    I loved his serpent playing!!

  • He's awesome! Great video!

  • How does he play so damn high?

  • Playing the Fountains of Rome excerpt memorized on both BB flat and CC tubas was impressive. You really gotta know the piece to be able to do that.

  • Quite right, TubaWorld. Sorry. Easy to get them mixed up! I heard him say "Fountains", but posted the comment a bit later, by which time I'd remembered the wrong piece. Ooops!

  • @Ophicleidist You are wrong, it is not from Pines, but Fountains.

  • @metallica2014 It's from "The Pines of Rome". (He says so at 8:20.)
