9 Movie Trailer

Planning to make a whole day of nines, September ninth, 2009 brings us the movie 9. Featuring a whole slew of names like Tim Burton and Elijah Wood, this might be one of the best pedigreed animated films in a long time.

When humanity blasts itself into a slow choking oblivion, an inventor creates a set of nine sentient rag dolls to embark on a mission to save what's left of life on Earth. Check out the trailer.

I'm just amazed that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter aren't involved. I was starting to think that Tim Burton couldn't go anywhere without bringing them along. But this one looks like it might be a great capper to the slowly waning summer movie season--or at least it will be by the time it comes out. This movie was as long as a cut scene in MGS4. Or at least a cut scene in the game.

This movie was more than epic... it was prophetic.

The morals in '9' are timeless.

People will only understand how phenomenal this film is when they realize how thin the boarder is between life and death (especially when we pushed the button to our destruction).
