The controversial Dateline NBC sex sting in Texas benefited the town's police department, a vigilante group and a TV network, NBC. There are no prosecutions, arrests were illegal. Who is working for who?

NBC now faces multiple lawsuits from the show in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Claims state that NBC bribes police departments to conduct stings to further the careers of law enforcement officials and unethically pays Perverted Justice to belligerently beg targets to come to sting houses for tv camera footage. In exchange, NBC gets a television show they claim is an "investigation" of a crime. Byron Harris reports as News 8 Investigates.
