And if you need to go through all that trouble, why not brush them while the machine is down?
Some service company is probably going to have a "ball" years from now when all of those Yorks are surging so bad they won't even stay online because no one has done any regular maintenance on them.

So is this stuff designed to eliminate the need for water treatment or decrease the cost or downtime associated with maintenance or what?
I bet someone still has to pull the waterbox off of the condenser to visually inspect the tubes...
