wow... Shane, this is fantastic! Those early push-up players are always so cool. I've never seen one in functioning order.

what keep the Pianola from moving around while foot pumping? I've heard of some sort of left and right brackets that were attached to the piano and pianola being played to lock it in place on the floor , also what serial # is yours, mine is (unrestored) 22700 and it's a 58/65 note pushup player

@TonyL1000 HiTony, the later push-ups may have had brackets but I really dont know. Mine just had 2 rubber cushions that rest against the board under the keys. Mine's on carpet so the weight tends to keep it from moving, but it might be different on a solid floor. My serial no is 18288 & the internal restorer found 1901 dates pencilled on a couple parts, but he forgot the month unfortunately. I guess yours must be 1901 or 1902 but I dont know what the production rates were.

Ive always wanted a player piono, but never actually seen one of these devices. Did you restore it ??

@zypp33 No, I had the internal mechanism restored by a pro. I only did the cabinet- which still isn't quite finished, but it's getting there.

I am envious that you get the smell and the touch of this marvelous instrument and you also get to feel the rumblings of machines life as the cogs whirl.
But the sound comes through alright ,
and that i can share with you thanks to this posting
The tune was first published in 1913 and this version may be early twenties or late teens?
This was the way that song was played till Judy Garlands version in 1937

@Choowbz Im not sure about the date of the roll. I read last night that Aeolian rolls all have a date code at the end, so I'll have to check that out further.
