  • i guess there were no more bamboos in the world so they had to make this one :P

  • @asus have been trying really hard to get this laptop in Oman..even trying to get it in dubai..the new model u53sd or even the u43sd..please ship it to middle east ASAP..im sure there are thousands of ppl waiting to buy it..please reply..!!!

  • Seriously did they stop making these? I can't find them anywhere but used on Amazon. I know the specs are a bit dated now but I don't need raw power, that's what my desktop is for. Any comments, Asus?

  • omg. so damn beautyyyyyyyyyyyyy! arghhh

  • what that song playing called?

  • I bought such laptot yesterday! I love it!

    Yes, bamboo is a grass.

  • @BToTech1 Bamboo is a grass. Not a tree. Trees cannot be regrown quickly. Have you ever seen how long it takes a tree to grow? You can't see it.. because that's how slow it grows. It takes years to even see it grow one foot. I have no idea where you're getting your information, but if you don't know what you're talking about, don't comment.

  • @Northcoda The problem is people are cutting down old growth forests and trees in the rainforest. Since it's easier to cut down one tree and harvest tons of lumber rather than wasting time cutting down 10 trees to produce the same amount of lumber. No trees cannot be "harvested" in 20 years.

  • I want a MacBook Pro in wood !

  • I want a lighter colored bamboo =P
