However, if you feel the need to post a response to "educate me", save it until you can tell me at what temperature the planet should be set at so we can have a big ceremony and smash the thermostat when it's reached.

Well said Sir!!! I live in the Desert we just had a short rather mild summer. And Have you noticed that Dim Bulb AL is now talking 'Climate Change' instead of Global Warming. If its hot its Climate Change if its cold its Climate Change

global warming cannot take place until Antarctica moves form its current position at the southernmost pole of the planet. Until that happens we'll still have the sub-antarctic current which moderate the temperature of Earth. It's simple math, more heat in the atmosphere = more ice which will melt into the oceans cooling the ocean more. Colder oceans = cooler earth. We're more likely to enter another ice age since the last was 10,000 years ago. BTW that's the cycle ~10,000 heat/~10,000 cool

@ward1691 The distance between us and the sun actually doesn't contribute that much to our Earth's heat. Space has barely any obstacles so the radiation/UV rays don't actually cool down that much when travelling distances. I agree though, global warming is bull shit.

gobal warming is a mith, the relative distance between the sun and earth is what controls the heat, if glaciers are melting at a rapid pace then water levels should go up but here in michigan water levels have been decreasing, glaciers melted during the ice age, and their was no factorys, automobiles, electricty, ex. and what about the middle east some places was plush forest turned to desert, and they are still riding around on donkeys they don't have alot of modern amenaditys
