Does the interlocking tower still work if someone pushes and pulls the levers?

@boweandrew3 It works completely internally, but of course has been disconnected with any interface with the tracks below it.

Good old Peter White (The tower expert in this video), he sure does give a good speech about the AC Tower!!!

Pete White is the reason so much has been preserved at Marion. Without Pete, all of it would have been bulldozed.

There were literally hundreds if not thousands of these across the U.S. at one time. There are still many wire/semaphore types still in existence in Great Britain. There are only three operation towers in Ohio today, all the rest being controlled by distant dispatchers (controllers) as far away as Jacksonville, Florida.
