My HP Printer/scanner says "no scan option" when I hit START SCAN or SCAN TO-----my only options, so I am not even ready for your BASICS help.-------HELP

try turning off your computer then unplugging the scanner. turn on the computer, once it goes through reboot and is ready, plug your scanner back in and your computer should recognize it. If it doesnt and your using USB, try another port.

Hi there... im haveing some trouble with scanning..
I scanned a pic to my laptop .. n for sum reason it says ' save profile ' i realy dont understand what is going on ?
and i cant even find where they are saved after that .

Oh, Im sorry I didnt log on for a while. Hope by now you have figured it out. If not, usually scanned docs go into the scan folder. thats located in mydocs, my pics, control center, scan. the best way to avoid this is instead of pressing save after a scan. go to (save as) then name it and save it to desktop. create a folder then drag your save docs into that folder. that way they are easy to find. Sorry again this is late.
