@RedTracour It's Israel. Like hell the US is gonna step in. You should read the story of Rachel Corrie and how she was brutally murdered and not even mentioned in the news.

@gkj13 You're disgusting.. Do you know how much it takes for anyone, especially an Afghan, to confess something like that. Youd on't know the pride culture they come from. No one in their right mind would lie about something like that. But since he is wearing a turban and looks like someone who could've attacked the Twin Towers, it is ok to dehumanize him. The only dirtbag I see here is you.

@gerila84 jewish genocide in Iraq, american wars for nazisrael domination

certainly i could have made it up.
and all the psychologists who are treating people for post traumatic stress disorder are gullible idiots. How would you verify that something has happened? So many children are abused for years, because no one believes their stories.
We can give a person the benefit of doubt . A trained professional can usually weed out the liars. Or we can sit behind the safety of our telly and know everything so much better.....

@modibbo0607 My best friend was just 5 when aliens came to his house and abducted him. Or so he says. The irony: His name is Alen. Which is spelled kinda like alien.
He is now a deadbeat who blames aliens for all his life failings.
We all wish he would kill himself and rid us all of his existence.
The fun part is that my story is about as verifiable as modibbo's.

@RedTracour I cannot and will not make a distinction between abuse and torture, though. my friend used to be a human rights lawyer- until the government cut the budget- and there are many such stories from all over the world. But likewise, the thought that at this moment in time, somewhere there is a child, a woman, beaten, starved, abused horrifically sometimes makes me really sad, because one feels so helpless. At least with governments one can try to put pressure on them. :)

@modibbo0607 im sorry, thats just unreal, the psychological impacts... I can't even imagine. A lot of people are arguing and joking and making sensational claims, but I hope some have the time to read ur comment and reflect, just for a moment.

@phoenixlanotte comedy's a way of dealing with reality. soldiers often develop an extremely sardonic sense of humor while at war. i'm no soldier, but in America it's still relevant, I could be drafted tomorrow. Developing a sense of humor is a great way to cope. It's borderline, i know, but everything now a days insults someone.

@Interceptor38 yea, we we must be pretty fuckin stupid, savin your asses from Nazi Germany.
My best friend was just 16 when he was kept for three days and raped and beaten by Israeli soldiers. His crime: being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The irony: He was a blond, blue eyed American, but with an Arab first name. He never really got over it and killed himself five years later. People have always condoned torture if it suited their ends, but there is never any justification for it. Maybe this is why US society is so violent- they have lost sight of what is right or wrong.
