i can remember watching Rodger Glesson race his sprintcar against Ivan back in the early eightes they started on opposites sides of the track and they were pretty even. All the best Ivan your a true icon and definately a legend in my book, inspirational

First came Ronnie Moore...then Barry Briggs and Ivan Mauger completed the trio of great New Zealand World Speedway Champions. Geoff Mardon although never an individual champion was also a top racer. All at one time rode at Wimbledon Speedway in South London.
