  • Thanks for this informative and timely video. I don't like to air my dirty laundry in public but suffice to say I haven't been able to push one out for months. Hopefully your advice will help me.

  • Too general. I've dealt with this and experience has taught anything with white flour will be hard to pass. Also, cheese. Ignore the dietary fiber number on nutritional labels if the food is processed. The negatives of the other junk in there will cancel out any benefits from the meager amount of fiber from veggies in there. So, eat unprocessed whole foods. The best food to fight constipation? Oatmeal. If that bores you, learn to make oatmeal bars by watching any of the numerous vids on youtube.

  • Does one get pinworms because of constipation

( leaving the poop in the body for a while may cause the pinworms to develop ) Is this correct ???

  • Thank god I don't drink a lot of water or excersize or eat a lot of fiber but I don't have constipation

  • I took the biggest crap of my life this morning, painful as hell, almost died.

  • @pierneus There's not enough info for useful advice. What do you consider normal? You may need to deficate less often than you think. What does your stool look like? Is it hard and dry, or soft and formed? How much do you pass with each BM? Is there pain with each BM? Is the pain sharp or dull? Do you routinely see blood in you stool? Do you suffer from diabetes, Parkinson's or MS? Do you suppress the urge to deficate? Stay away from excessive laxatives and enemas- talk to you doctor!

  • I've been constipated for 20 years, I've become quite accustomed to it. I'm healthy, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, not to mention the amount of fiber that I take every day : one of these days I'll become a fiber myself! Yet, I still have the problem!

What the heck should I do?

  • @Bobababy2208 Yes, it can.
