Not just a response to Sparda1123 but also why I chose the bike I have.

  • i love the boardd!!! Which is it? Sort of looks like a feelgood?

  • @michshift actually it isn't even a Burton board. It's a Ride board but it does have Burton bindings and Burton boots to go along with it :D

  • im glad that you put this on here about the 250 vs 600. i am practicing on a 250 for a month now and im ordering a r6 i was kinds feeling that i made a wrong choice but i didnt wanted to buy a 250. I feel alot better now now that i know that you did not get the 250. I was thinking about doing the same.. just take is slow and get to know my bike.

  • @rich80baby oh ya you'll be fine, just take it easy there's no rush!

  • so many worries.. just get a 250! you'll have so much more fun.. you'll be focused on the ride and not the scariness of riding a super-sport beast.

  • heh o I'm fine with my bike now! And if I had to go back and choose a bike again after what I know, I'd pick the same one! I also think I'll outgrow my 600 in a year.

  • starting on an r1?? thats just stupid im sorry but it really is

  • if everyone who bought a 600 as a first bike was as you , probably there wouldnt be this all this discussion and drama of a 600 being dangerous or not , you may have bougth a gsx but at least you have a head and a brain in it to use it consciensly

  • I pretty much have the same mindset you do. I prob never gonna race a bike or try stunts. I think alot of people who ride wanna act like jerks and have that mentality of "oh look at how cool i am". but i find that attitude to be immatue. I dont im just taking is slow riding my bike on my block. But what i have noticed is that riding is alot alot of fun, even if you dont go super fast. Its just a very unique experience.

  • well said ride on ash.

  • Good points, Do not exceed your skill.

Being smooth, and in control is more important then pure speed.

  • haha obama '08 nice.
