On the percussion part at 2:25 the part where you 'catch the note' well my bass makes no noise atall=/ its erm...too muted?

hmmm.. either turn your top end up, change your strings if they are super old.. OR perhaps it could be how hard your hitting? make sure you use all your fingers to so when you hit hhard you don't get a note! Hope that helps mate? Bass on!
