We need a new term for our orientation (& not just the shortened, cutesy "bi"), like "homosexuals" did with "gay," a term that does not immediately conjure up explicit sexual connotations by having SEX right in the middle of the damn word & instead moves towards a more complete view of love & our humanity overall. Homosexual/bisexual is too closely associated with hateful bigots. When was the last time you heard a gay man or woman refer to themselves as homosexual? Yeah, that's what I thought...

I came out as gay 5 years ago because men are the ones who catch my attention the most. Still, I would meet a girl once in a while that would drive me horny and I would develop crushes on her. I tried talking about with friends, and they said "it's just society telling you, you have to be straight." Fuck them. Now I know I am bisexual, but every one thinks I'm having an identity crisis. I feel so alone.
