South-Southwest Suburban United Way is the largest non-governmental funder of health and human service programs in the Southland region and is making a difference by helping individuals and families build healthier and safer communities.Funds raised will go towards a matching grant by Chicago Community Trust,which has committed to match one-to-one all new dollars raised by United Way for crisis support, with the goal of securing $1 million for communities with the greatest need.
