  • were did you ground your speaker amp?

  • @txfinest2k7 I grounded it on the center rear seat belt pre-tensioner. I removed the bolt that holds it in place, put the grounded wire ring on and tightened it back up. it's worked pretty well and I haven't had any issues with it.

  • how much was it to hook up your sub, and amp to the stock head unit on the altima. i just got a 09 altima today and in my other other i had a sub and a amp

  • @NYG91BALT27 Congrats on your new Alti! I actually don't have any subs in mine, and I did all of the installs myself so I only paid for the speakers, amp, install kits, etc.

Best of luck with your new ride!

  • Never use a factory radio get an alpine

  • @MIT2004 the factory radio actually is pretty good. i dont think i'd go with an alpine.. i havent heard many good things about em and their speakers distort pretty easily at low volumes - we had em come stock in my 04 pilot and the infinity speakers that they were replaced with sound so much better. maybe their headunits are better quality?

  • @jjchargerboy16 the camera doesnt pick up the lows that well - the videos dont do it justice.. its pretty powerful on the lows even without subs

  • @04gochevy it'd be distorting. the speakers start trying to move too far to keep the bass n treble too high. the videos dont do the sound system justice

  • @cheezitsallday i have a wire running for my radio - its an Accessory On wire that is my trigger wire - i hooked that up on a switch so i can turn the signal on/off for the amp so that i dont get the constant hum from the amp always powering the speakers.

  • @chainsawmanny i was thinking about subs... these videos dont do justice to the bass that im getting without subs
