I'm listening to his CD now and so glad I found this video. I wanted to see him singing it not just hear it. He has so much emotion in his voice!

I am so much into other genres of rock, but this song is always in my mind. I have lived this song verbatim, and it wasn't easy. She kissed me goodbye with consolation, and so was my last kiss to her. Nothing heartbreaking except that we share children. Still, it's so surreal to hear this song when you have lived it. I was very upset when I heard the Jeff was dead, way back when. I am Forty now, and still remember that news flash on MTV. Thank You Jeff for leaving such a legacy.

@HerkyOJerky I am a fan of all of those an more, as well as Joy Division etc. This song just really hits home for me though.

I have lived this. It was so surreal, and yet it was so easy to walk away from though. That last kiss was definitely out of consolation. I knew it, and mine was the same. When it's over, it's over! Nothing you can do.

I Love Lynyrd Skynyrd,Pantera,The Offspring,Third Eye Blind and many other Bands and Artists but this song is my absolute #1 favorite song of all time...!!! My favorite part is on the studio version when he's coming out of the bridge back into the 3rd verse.....aaaaaaaaaaa did you say no this can't happen to me..... That aaaaaaaaaaa has the most pure passion Ive ever heard in recorded music!
