I felt disorganized and I had the problem of plenty of time and space, but not the usage of it that would maximize my artistic output! I want to make music and take pictures and draw and DO things with my life.

I decided to take advantage of some unused space out in my garage and make it livable for me.

It's a work in progress, but I think I achieved my goal in really formulating a space, and an organization, that I understand and will continue to use and improve on.

In this project, and in the video, I want to remind people, hey.
Maybe you have something you're not taking advantage of to help you, and you could.
In doing this project, I took advantage of two things:
1) The unused space in the garage, and
2) The open-ended nature of this design problem assignment.
In the ends, my needs were met.

I am very privileged, I know, to have so much space in my house, and to be in college and have opportunities for inspiration...but even if your circumstances are different, there is always something eluding us, something that we haven't though of, that we can put to good use and improve our quality of life with!

The song was chosen because it has a personal resonance regarding my emotional health and well being.

  • The space looks great! :D And I think this is a good song for such a video and project.

  • Thanks! I showed it in class but I didn't use the music cause other people were also presenting and I didn't want to distract, but it seemed like it went over well!

Yeah, I thought the song worked ^_^

  • Yay! Make room for art! =^)

  • Oh the song is great!

Also, just a cute little thing.

I can't believe how big the kitties are now! Last time I saw them they were still little fluff balls.
