This upcoming academic year, more than 2,000 Columbia College students will be rethinking their student financial aid due to the current state's budget crisis. In July, the Illinois General Assembly reduced the Illinois Student Commission funds (ISAC) by half causing close to 280,000 Illinois college students to find alternatives for financial aid. Columbia College is ranked among the third largest private institution that sees the more than $4 million dollars in cuts.
Columbia is accredited.
