I think this came out in about 2003. She may or may not be dead now, but she wasn't at the time of making this film or they would have added an endline about it. There was another one from the same people where a man with terminal cancer expressed his wish to see his daughter (who lived abroad) and then at the end it stated that he had died before she could visit him.

Poor, poor woman. This made me cry how she is breathing at the start of the advert is exactly how my Nana used to sound. Felt like I was listening to her and it brought it all back. I urge all smokers to stop before it's too late.

I had a collapsed lung because of smoking - i quit right away it scared me, i have mild Emphysema i can still get about not like this poor lady in this video clip -

@missrachaelann A few years ago my Papa died on Holiday in Southport & when I was in the Hospital seeing him die this is what it sounded like. This ad aired at the same time as my Papa's death & it brought it back.

There is no better example of the dangers of cigarette-smoking than this. God help this poor woman, Janice; how she must have suffered. If she has passed away, it is better for her.....RIP.
