It's just like adoption with human babies - people want to get them while they are still young and new. I wouldn't have got an old dog either.

To all you people complaing about Oprah not getting an older dog, how many old dogs have you adopted? I find people like to talk and complain but they don't do anything to help a cause themselves.

Keep a close eye on these scams like Cancer society of (whatever) they all like a mess so they can demand more money for doing nothing good. No problem = No money. It appears The Humane Society hold animals hostage for ransom because they did not really care. The ASPCA or something charged Humane Society workers again 4 days ago Thank God

I hope The Humane Society gets busted 8 more times and staff pay legal bills out of there own ockets instead of continuing to use YOUR donations for covering and hiding the damage and pain the staff enjoyed dragging the dogs and cats through while you donated money hoping for the opposite.

how do you know if i've donated to the humane society or not? how do you know anything that i've done? you don't. so please explain what you are trying to say better.

This pisses me off. The SO CALLED Humane society wouldnt help a bleeding dog in the shelter for weeks the dogs mouth was bleeding and he was crying in that stinky cage. ANd the managers never helped and got mad at me for telling them over and over for 6 hours and I returned every week and the same dog was crying and still bleeding from the mouth while nawing on the iron bars from pain, worry or sadness or somthing serious and they did not even give him a rubber bone.

Oprah has two goldens and a cocker spaniel I believe but I don't know if the cocker spaniel is Sadie or is a different dog. Her dog Sophie passed away shortly after her 2 year old golden retriever choked on a ball. :(

So she has 3 or 4 dogs.

She may have more or less by now but I haven't watched the show in a year or more so I only know what is on the news lol
