Frankie explains her theory about Christy's behavior to Cass and Felicia: Christy's wedding was this glamourous, spectacular but traditional affair that was over the top, even for New York City standards. Christy chose a wedding dress for Frankie that was just like Christy's own wedding dress, and she wants Cass to wear tails like Douglas wore when Douglas and Christy were married... Cass picks up the train of thought and finishes it for Frankie: Christy is trying to recreate her and Douglas's wedding for Cass and Frankie. Frankie then continues from where Cass leaves off, adding that Christy is losing Douglas, so she's trying to relive the happiest time of her life through Frankie and Cass. Felicia still feels badly about making Christy feel like her ideas were stupid and that Felicia knows Frankie and Cass better than Christy does. Felicia wants to go and apologize to Christy right away, but Frankie and Cass urge her to wait until tomorrow. Frankie assures Felicia that it wasn't anything Felicia said; Christy is just going through a really rough time right now. Cass says that the only person who can ground Christy is Douglas, and he hopes that Christy turns to Douglas tonight.

The conversation then turns to business. Felicia shocks Cass and Frankie when she tells them that while she was in London, she exercised the out clause in her contract with Cory Publishing to sign with Darby Worldwide to publish her books from now on. They have a tie-in with the BBC, and she needs a change; Rachel, in fact, encouraged her to make a change so she's taking Rachel's advice. But now Rachel is not speaking to Felicia, since Felicia turned in her final manuscript and broke this news to Rachel. Cass can't believe Felicia did this without consulting him, and Frankie is surprised as well. When Felicia says she needed a change, Cass retorts that she needs help because she's going off the deep end. Felicia insists that she knows what she's doing. Cass asks how Felicia can say that. Felicia says she took Rachel's advice about making a change, and in time Felicia will see that Felicia still loves her friend even though they no longer work together. Cass angrily asks Felicia since when does she go jetting off to England and cutting deals without consulting her attorney? Felicia tells Cass that her new agent is negotiating the deal, and he knows that Cass has final approval, so can Cass please just trust Felicia on this? Cass tells Felicia he wants to see all the paperwork first thing tomorrow. Felicia says fine, on one condition: Cass and Frankie are to go home right now and not worry about Felicia or Rachel or anything. Just go home and be in love. Cass and Frankie leave after Felicia promises that Cass can see all the paperwork first thing in the morning, and as soon as they're gone, Felicia heads to the bar. She had made a point of not drinking with Cass and Frankie earlier, but once they've left TOPS, she hits the champagne. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
