i was one of about 200 meadowbank fans who turned up that day. I remeember the carnival atmosphere and the lovely sunny day it was. I was gutted we lost 2-4. Falkirk were worthy champions that year and to be honest we were poor that season.
Anyway, thanks for posting this - SWEET MEMORIES !!! goan the Bankies and the black and tan army !! MTFC becoming Livingston was one of the saddest days in my young life back then - I could never become a Livi fan - bring back the bankies !!

I don't think there was ever any excuse for that shellsuit, a true fashion disaster.

I was there and was one of the heeds bobbing up and down on the pitch, had the same shell suit Jim Jeffries and the lads had, what a fire risk!!!!!!
