Weird Cornish morris dancing people, wearing feathers, leathers, and black make-up.
Filmed this while on summer holiday in Cornwall.

Also,
Notice the Bank in the background?
Could this dancing be some kind of diversion?
Huh, Huh!?

  • It is not evil this individual did not understand what they were filming. It is our ancient wisdom. Learn something important and be respectful.

  • Chill out my man!

I meant no malice by including 'evil' in the title.

I had fun watching them dance, the guys appeared to have fun while dancing, so I had a bit of fun with the title of this video.

I don't claim to know the in's and out's of morris dancing, or the 'deeper meaning' of it all. But without this enjoyment, traditions such as this would just die out.

    Hope you agree?

  • I suspect these dancers may know the secret to crafting a Hand of Glory.

  • Maybe,

But is the dried and pickled left hand taken from the corpse of a hanged criminal really the best way to open closed doors?

  • The banking diversion.....very astute.........

  • I thought so too.

They probably travel around the country robbing banks,

and use the money to buy new feathers and face-paint?!
