Tico Tico, Besame Mucho, Patricia, Cielito Lindo were covered by pop performers into instrumental format so much that inspired even own compositions of very talented performers into latino and brazilian roots. Al Caiola was always very open minded as Ray Coniff into musical standards.

this song seems to be played in the "Ray Conniff / Tijuana Brass" style. which is a unique combination, I grant you that.
If you like this song, for sure you need to try Leroy Anderson's version (I believe it was the original).
