Same here. I have money to buy shit, but just don't care anymore. The only reason I buy when I do is for the sake of buying. LIbraries have all the books and many movies too. So why buy unless extremely rare or interesting?

awesome :). i also think i enjoy these becuase i buy very little merch. i only buy dvds of aqua teen hunger force (thats my fav tv show) and of the used (my fav band) so that means i only buy 1 or 2 a year and unboxing them is a very fun and special, rare time for me. so i guess i think of the great feeling i get unboxing something i care about and enjoy seeing others get the same feeling. theres just that warm spot in a humans heart when they unbox a package theyve been waiting for :)

They've actually improved anesthesia a lot over the last few years. It doesn't make you sick anymore and you recover from it a lot quicker.
